On my walk I come across an old house that once belonged to the boatkeeper who was in charge of taking people across the river to the village of Wycliffe, a tiny hamlet on the other side.
The walls of the house are broken down but room partitions and a fireplace can still be distinguished. I became interested in the contrast between the crumbling architecture and the pristine circle.
I enjoyed the aesthetics of this combination and the way in which colour and form can change a space.
