If you would like to bring creativity, imagination and artistic skills to your life I run art classes to spark individuality and new ideas.
One of the highlights of my week for many years now is Jane’s Art Class. It has meant even more to me during the pandemic and given me something positive to focus on. Jane knows how to challenge us which is so stimulating.

Group art classes are a great place to make friends, relieve stress and boost confidence, research has shown the positive effects art has on general well-being.
It is lovely to be in a group of like minded people, switch off from life, especially at this time. Probably one of the best things about the class is that Jane listens to us and does her best to accommodate our different needs. Very therapeutic. If you don’t try you will never know.

My classes are designed for individuals of all abilities. I create a calm, open-minded environment and run the sessions slightly differently to other art courses, I give you the power of choice. Before you start, I find out what you are looking to learn, which enables me to design your personalised programme. Some of the mediums I can help you with include Acrylic Paint, Charcoal, Clay, Graphite, Inks, Oils, Pastels, Watercolours, Collage and Mono printing, Pen and Ink.
Each week I organise an activity which you can choose to participate in if you like. If you prefer to get on with your own thing then that is fine. I go around the class and help everyone on an individual basis.

The group have benefited me by keeping up my interest in art. Getting me out of my comfort zone. Giving me a chance to meet and be with people. Get involved in exhibitions and have some very nice days visiting galleries.
