In collaboration with Deborah at Lockhaugh Farm in the Derwent Valley, I will be artist in residence – April 2024 to April 2025.
Dates: Wednesday 10th July 2024 and Sunday 20th October 2024.
Each month I will stay in accommodation at the farm. This will give me the opportunity to spend time walking, exploring and connecting with the surrounding pathways, fields and the beautiful woodland.
By engaging creatively with all that is around me in experimental ways I will create a reflective journal and a body of artwork as a response.
I will be delivering two art sessions with each of them incorporating a mindful walk in nature where we will engage with our senses and take inspiration from our surroundings to activate creativity.
